According to the coffee franchiser, it has opened at least 300 stores each year within recent six years. Besides Ediya, only bakery franchise Paris Baguette from SPC Group runs over 3,000 stores in the country.

To strengthen its competitiveness amid business expansion, Ediya said it has appointed two industry experts as vice presidents of the company. Vice President Kim Nam-yeob, who will head the business management division, previously handled asset management and corporate consulting at Hyundai Asset Management and SV Partners. Vice President Shin Yoo-ho, who will head the marketing development business, formerly worked at SPC Group.
